Comfortable

Invisalign has been designed with comfort in mind. Accurate and precise scans promise secure, custom-made clear aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires irritating your skin.

Removable

Invisalign’s clear aligners are completely removable, allowing you to eat and drink whatever you choose and brush your teeth as normal. They can even be removed for special occasions and just popped back in afterwards.

Gradual & Gentle

Invisalign is a gradual and gentle treatment, applying small amounts of force to slowly move the positions of your teeth. It can be used for a range of issues, including gaps, misalignment and overcrowding.

What does the treatment involve?

At your initial appointment, we will examine your teeth and take photographs and scans. We will discuss with you what you hope to achieve from your Invisalign treatment and create a bespoke treatment plan, ensuring you are happy with the predicted outcome.

During your fitting appointment, our Invisalign specialist will ensure your clear aligners are comfortable and a perfect fit. You will need to wear a different aligner every two to three weeks to gradually move the position of your teeth.

You will be supported by our Invisalign specialist throughout your Invisalign treatment, with a number of appointments to check all is on track. The length of treatment depends on your individual case and how much your teeth are required to move. Most cases are completed in 6-18 months.

At the end of your treatment, you will receive a retainer to help you maintain your new straight smile. Teeth have a habit of moving out of position, so wearing your retainer regularly will keep them in place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Invisalign treatment?

Invisalign is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth without the need for traditional metal braces. It’s a popular choice for both adults and teens due to its discreet nature and excellent comfort.

How does Invisalign treatment work?

Invisalign uses a series of custom-made clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into their desired positions. Patients wear each aligner for a specific period before moving on to the next in the series.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

The duration of Invisalign treatment varies depending on the complexity of the case. On average, treatment can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months, but it can be shorter or longer depending on your individual needs.

Is Invisalign treatment painful?

Invisalign treatment is generally considered to be a more comfortable option than traditional braces. There may be some mild discomfort when you first start wearing your clear aligners, or when switching to a new aligner, but this is temporary and usually subsides quickly.

How much do Invisalign clear aligners cost?

The cost of Invisalign clear aligners varies depending on the complexity of the case and the length of treatment. We offer finance options, subject to status, age and affordability.

Can Invisalign aligners fix any orthodontic problem?

While Invisalign aligners can treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, the treatment may not be suitable for all cases. A consultation with an orthodontist will determine if Invisalign treatment is the right option for you.

How often do Invisalign aligners need to be changed?

Invisalign aligners are typically changed every 1-2 weeks. Your orthodontist will provide a specific schedule based on your treatment plan.

Can I eat and drink normally with Invisalign aligners?

Yes, one of the benefits of Invisalign treatment is that you can remove the aligners to eat and drink. It’s also important to brush your teeth before reinserting the aligners.
